Does anyone here use a Macbook (not the Pro) for graphic design?
I wonder if it'll be good enough to do graphic design work (CS3) and web design (flash + dreamweaver)

I use a stock Macbook Pro, sometimes with the whole creative suite open, no problems. I would advise using a laptop cooler for your desk though.

Screen's too small.
runs fine on macbook, just get the most ram you can.
screen however is too small for my taste as well, but you can just get an other monitor and hook it up.
I had one of the small ibooks and agree with richie the screen is too small.

I have a G4 iBook with a gig of RAM crammed in it. When I need to be portable, or if I feel like working while I'm watching tv, it's usable. The screen size is too small to be my main computer, but it works. What about running a second monitor off of it when you're not on the move? I know people do that with the Pro line, maybe that would work.

i have a glossy screen on my Dell, and when i'm out at a coffeeshop or something, i get lots of glare/reflections from windows, etc.
if you're gonna setup in an office, i'd say fine (it makes blacks look nice)... if you're gonna go portable, not so great. lesson lurnned.
what machine have you been using? it will blow away an ibook g4

macbook is powerful enough loaded with ram. fuggitaboutit on that little screen though.
However. I have my macbook hooked up to a 24" Dell monitor when i'm at home. It rules.
