does anyone have a good PS brush for doing sand texture they could send me or point me to?

Fill a Ziploc baggie with sand... flatten it... scan it. Tweak accordingly.

shit, wish I woulda thought to put it in a bag, I just poured it all over my scanner

Just run your scanner through the dishwasher. It'll come out.
