    Default MP4's to MP3's

Does anyone convert their MP4's to MP3's? MP4's are the protected music files downloaded from itunes. I'm tired of not being able to listen to my music on different computers.

If you are willing to illegally break the protection on those files .. why not just download the MP3s off the net for free? Its easier - and free.

Can't you you convert a file to MP3 via iTunes? It's an option under "advanced".

Yup. What he said. At least you can do it on a Mac. Not sure about a PC.

nope...when you buy something off itunes, it is protected...you can't convert it to an mp3. you have to do what vagtagh said, which is illegal, or download a program that makes the computer think it burned a disc, and then import the imaginary disc as an mp3, which is still illegal.
