Default Pulling the stars from the sky

    Is such a thing possible?

An image landed in my lap to be printed as process color on graphite color shirts (not the image shown - but it's about the same) - client wants the black of the sky to knockout to the shirt -

    waddaya think?

I tried a few tricks but I'm thinking the customer is crazy

Using channels to finely select the dark/black areas might be the way to go for something like this.

    thanks for the responses -

I guess in my heart of hearts I wanted to hear that it's not possible (do I really mean that? probably not) - but 'definitely possible' means what it means

I simplified a bit before - it's not for screenprinting but for digital printing (direct to garment, er... not sure what the technical name it - we have a Kornit) but with as complicated as it is, I'm guessing I'd have to deconstruct and rebuild this a la seps anyway - and the last time I tried that I made things look funny.

Well, hm - the client's not going to pay for the design time while I teach myself how to do complicated seps from lo res jpgs and it's only for one shirt (a sample). So, ah, anyway.
