    Default Expanding Layer Blending Options - Pshop

    is there a way to expand the appearance of the blending options applied to a layer (i.e. stroke, color overlay, etc.) in Photoshop?

    highlight what you want to expand and then select>modify>expand? is that what you mean?

    in the options window under layers (or right click on the effect) there is somethign that says 'Create Layers'

    that'll do ya. i feel like we just went over this...

    create a blank layer under the layer you want to "expand", highlight the layer you want to zap and hit ctrl+E, otherwise known as layer/flatten layer.
