depends what software you're using, but a dvd file (a .VOB if you look at a DVD on a computer) is actually an MPEG-2. So you can't go wrong with an MPEG-2.
you need to burn it as a playable dvd format. if you just chuck a file onto a DVD-R, a standard set-top player won't recognize it. Any Roxio or Ulead or whatever program should give you the option. you want a "video disc", not a "data disc".
Okay, thanks!
.
How are you converting the FLVs to MPG, before making the VOBs?
Just curious what your process is... and interested to know the results.
I use an app called Snapz Pro for recording video from screen.
I also have an application called Cinematize Pro, for taking video from DVDs, but I've never gone in the other direction and made DVD content from FLV files.
Just like to know how it turns out.
Good luck with it all.
