Any of you use Onyx Postershop Ver.7 RIP for digital media (wide format printers)
I'm starting to use this at work and I'm just wondering if any of you use this or have any comments about it.

I used to use it at my old work. It works fine. Most of the rip programs I have used could have been a lot more user friendly but they worked and did the job.
It prints fine,.. just alot more learning curve to it compared than what we had before.
My co-worker is having a real hard time with it. I just kind of roll with it. It's just new and the more I use it the more it makes sense.

You probably know more about it than me then. Because all I used it for is making films. I know there is a bunch of other shit it can do but it was strictly set up for making black films. Plus I am a total caveman the only reason I am halfway knowledgeable at sepping art is from my mistakes or taking advice from goodtimes.
What's cool about it is, Now I can get oversized film positives
The print heads on the mutoh are made the same way epson makes them, so you get a nice dense black

I've used it for years and think that it rules. I guess Wasatch RIP is the other big one. I've never used that one though.
I took a class on onyx and after enduring about 4 hours of learning how to build color profiles I wanted to put a gun to my head. The other 4 hours were cool and informative though.
