Photoshop and illustrator crash every time I try to open a file. It will let me make a new one, but not open an old one. I have CS3 web Premium. Dreamweaver seems to be working fine. Anyone run into this?

Vista CS3 problems

Ravi, i did a quick google and came up with it being a Version Cue related problem (possibly), the mentioned solution for a few folks was:
In CS3 go to Edit>Preferences>File Handling and unselect "Enable Version Cue". Then Exit CS3 and restart...
good luck, and yes, downgrade to XP or have a dual boot if Vista is a must.

At work we just got some new wide format printers and all new computers/rips and they are not using "Vista" they said it has given them nothing but problems and they are staying with Windows XP.
