    Default Wacom/Painter question

Hey Folks - I have had this question for a long time, and I thought that maybe someone here could shed some light... I have a wacom tablet (just a graphire, but, it's been pretty good for now). Anyway, I have used it with Painter with absolutely no problem for a while, and now for some reason, when I use it in painter, the brush...skips...I don't know how else to describe it. I will be trying to paint, and then it's like the curser skips to the left and makes a big line across what I was trying to paint. It's frustrating. I have tried reinstalling Painter, but, it didn't help.

So, my question is...is this a Painter problem or a Wacom problem? And does anyone know how to fix it?

    Thanks!

Or you updated your computer but never updated Painter which may have released an update to match the current OS update. Maybe.

I'm going to guess it's a memory error. Happens to me when painting huge files in photoshop.

used to happen to me randomly with my mouse... then I changed to a trackball and haven't had the problem. Maybe it is your driver????

I had that problem a while back. My tablet was plugged into a usb hub. I tried plugging it straight into a usb port on my computer and the problem went away, and hasn't come back.

    Try that first...
