If it's a vector image, make sure you convert ALL the blacks, and don't forget to convert the strokes if there are any.

yeah that will work. Sometimes at the printshop we go with

20/20/20/100

That's so we can maintain the other colors printed around the black without flooding CMY to the hilt. Just a thought — I bet you'll be fine using Billy's values.
