    Default InDesign Help

So I'm laying out this magazine in Adobe InDesign CS3 on a Mac.
It is 28 pages and then I try to save it as a booklet PDF so it will put it in printer spreads automatically. It is inserting a blank page as the back cover for some reason. I do have a numbering section starting on page 3 to numbering there.

I don't want to have to do a separate file for the cover and all.

    Thanks for any help.

it is usually pretty common to deliver the cover as a seperate file, isn't it? besides that, the printer is going to have to re-set up the file for output anyhow (4 pgs to a sheet of paper) so they'd need to remove your cover from the file anyhow, right? (but i don't claim to know anything)

You can delete page out of the PDF.
Go the thumbnails and highlight & delete.

If the cover is a cover weight and the insides are text weight they'll be on seperate sheets if that helps.

set up 2 seperate master pages, one at 2 pages for the spreads and one at one page for front and back covers.

I tried the 2 separate master pages and I think I still have my file set up wrong.
