    does anyone have any recommendations on what brand to get? Apple memory is super expensive... is Kingston pretty reliable?

    check newegg.com they have super cheap memory. read through the reviews.

    ill sell you the gig of memory (2 512s) that came out of my intel iMac for like 50 bucks.

    i went through Find the latest Performance Upgrades, Firewire and USB Hard Drives, SATA, Memory, Laptop Battery, and more at OWC for my intel imac ram. super cheap and lifetime warranty i believe. i think it's cheaper than crucial.com even
