    Default PS to Illustrator question...

i designed a poster in photoshop and realized that the resolution was at 150 after it was done. i have illustrator at work, and have no idea how to use it. what i'm looking to do is make the seps vector for smooth film printing. what would be a simple way to do this?

you can try out livetrace in illustrator, object>livetrace>tracing options

you may want to make your seps in photoshop first. good luck, may not come out pretty.

or, in photoshop, select each color, go to grow/ and or similar, then go to the paths palletee, and use the make work path, then export those paths of that color to illustrator, in illustrator use the live trace (if you have cs2, or 3) and do this for each color. you can clean them up.

any way you do it, its gonna be some work..
