    Default embroidery digitize?

is there a way to either- fake embroidery digitizing using a path in Photoshop or Illustrator-
    or
    - a good cheap reliable digitizer that I should go to?

    thanks

I've seen some good fake EMB screen printing on Nike shirts..

If I was to try it, I would get a digitizer to run the logo through their program then export that as a hires TIF and sep in photoshop... if they can even do that...

We use this dude named Curtis from Funky Turtle for all our digitizing: http://www.funkyturtle.com/

He will email you mocks and DST files.

Is this for a one-time project or do you need to do it a lot? Corel has an embroidery filter that does a good job but it won't work in Illustrator or Photoshop. If you just want something to look embroidered, you can email me a vector of what you are working on and I can run it through the filter.

no - I mean I really want to get a design ready to embroider, but I don't want to pay alot, so I wondered if I could do it in photoshop instead and output the dst file or whatever...

digitizing isnt that expensive if you shop around.

i think we pay something like $5 per 1000 stitches.
