Your not going to get a brushy look if you color in illustrator. You can use your Wacom for getting painterly effects in Photoshop ir painter. I did this one with my Wacom and photoshop

The tablet works in practically every program, though some programs support the pressure sensitivty more than others. Painter 7 and Photoshop 7 support the full range of pressure, and tilt variations. Flash MX also supports Wacom tablets now too.
I'd suggest one as a must-have to any artist. They're definitely worth the investment. I have a 9x12 and it's actually a pretty large tablet that fits in your lap. The 12x12 and 12x18 tablets can be unruly due to their bulk.

Yo MaximumFluoride, that's cool!!! I knew stuf like that was possible, that's totally awsome.. I was wondering if it would be a good tool for outline inking.
I found something on Wacom's Site: http://www.wacom-europe.com/uk/use-i...ware_atlas.asp but I can't figure out on what program the demo is based... |

I know that in Freehand 10, the pressure actually determines the thickness of the stroke in the pen tool. Not sure about Illustrator.
