I sure as hell wish I had that "remove white" command though...
i hate scissors.
theres loads of them floating around as filters or commands i think if you google for 'eliminate white photoshop filter' youll find one for freeOriginally Posted by gmac17
That remove white deal - I just tried it - it's so fuching simple and works so fuching well, I cannot believe it.
You just duplicate the layer you want to knowck out the white on,
click on the duplicated layer you just created, the go to select and pulldown to load selection - it'll give you background gray as you option - click OK- it takes a second, but it selects the whites, leaves the black, and deletes clean as hell.
That was worth signing on for.
Hey guys, glad you liked the how-to. I was wondering if that "load selection" would work with others, as sometimes it doesn't work the way I want it. But I'm glad it's working for you, DenisMutter.
You can make the pixels darker a bit by clicking on the transparency lock for that layer and then use the brush tool with whatever color you want. Kinda eliminates any unwanted white-ish pixels that may be left behind.
cool 'how-to' ward! Does anyone have links to anyother cool tutorials like that? Im not after the cheesy photoshop effects ones morelike ward's effort?
