any 1 dealing with this on newer macs>? Old programs are a no go---which sucks bc some of my shit doesn't have updates yet----like my scanner plug in...YAAAARRRRGHHHHH. I found a couple fixes but it seems i have to be a scientist to figure out how to install it.

Yeah... Lion kills Rosetta and any apps dependent on it.

Yep I updated last week, forced to buy Office 2011. Kinda sucks. But other than that I've found all the other updates for free to get things rolling. I had to email Fetch to get an updated serial number and they got that to me in about 36 hours. I'd consider buying a PC at this point but my digital life is kind of wrapped up in Apple. This situation, more or less, in the opposite form is what pushed me into Apple computers in the first place. I was getting sick of Windows stuff not running smoothly and old stuff becoming un-updatable, now, at least for some stuff, it looks like Apple's turn.

I wish computers were more like guitars - the older they are the better they become.
