can anyone suggest a good resource to learn adobe illustrator

Ive seen a lot of great work thats made me want to get in to using illustrator, I just wanted to see if any of you guys had any good suggestions for where to learn the program (websites/books/classes/ etc.) I'll appreciate any help anyone has to offer. Thanks

Well this is a little less specific than what i was hoping for. I tried youtube once so far but the videos that i checked out were awful. ill check out the classroom in a book series though, thanks.

Not sure of your familiarity with Illustrator, but Gomediazine has a couple, and vecteezy, as well. Try 'vector art tutorial Illustrator' as a search term and refine from there. You may have to sort and pick to get you where you're going.




Also, Youtube is free.
