    Default Help with Epson 1400

    Hey,

This is my first post on here, I've searched the archives, so I hope that this isn't a repeat question.

Recently bought an Epson 1400 and Rayonet R Film (waterproof ink jet film) to make transperancies. When I go to load the film into the printer and print, it jams everytime and I can't get it to work? Anyone else have similar problems with the Epson 1400? Because from what I've read, it seems a lot of people use the Epson 1400 to make tranperancies, so I am not sure what is going on...

Any help or sugguests would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Michelle

We occasionally have problems with the films not being set in the tray just perfectly and it just feeds it through and it takes a few tries... it usually only happens if we shut the printer off for an extended period of time or it's been a while since it's been used. We've never had any problems with the films actually jamming up though. Oh and we use those same films.

Thanks! I actually got it to work after a few tries...
So I guess it is just patience.

    Thanks for the reply.

I had this problem too and I found a trick that got it everytime. I just put a rigid sheet of paper in the tray the same size as the transparency.
