Default Wacom Inkling - this looks rad

this looks cool... and something I would really like to try out... the price looks reasonable as well... the big question is how well it works...

pretty amazing technology but i don't really get the difference between just scanning the artwork in anyway or sketching in photoshop instead aside from saving a few minutes of scanning time and the fact that its portable i guess

if it actually works well, the portability is worth it.

I'm curious how well it vectorizes the strokes. Could be really useful if it can make stroked paths out of a single pen stroke rather than a filled blob like illustrator will do from a scan.

I'd like to see a pencil version though - maybe like a refillable mechanical pencil.

Just saw this. Looks awesome. I can think of a lot of uses for it. Might save a few minutes here and there....but I wouldn't think of it so much as a time-saving device but as more of a "pain-in-the-ass" saving device. It could make a few things easier and smoother for a lot of people.

I'm curious how well the ballpoint pen look will come through on the digital side. If it will give the same quirks of actual an actual pen or an approximation. I like how that looks and it's definitely part of my hand drawn style. I think that would get lost in translation.

Looks interesting and I'd certainly love to play around with it, but probably not something I could justify purchasing.

That is now officially on my Christmas list. Wacom has been making my drawing time easier and more fun for almost a decade and this just looks like the next logical step.
