    Default Trapping in Photoshop?

    Hello,
a customer sent me a .psd file and I'm separate colors. The colors are spot and the separation is super easy but I'm wondering how to make "trapping" on Photoshop.

I always use Illustrator and I use the "Offset Path" function but on Photoshop I don't know how to do it (I never work on Photoshop!)

The layers are 2 spot colors, but I'd like to create a smaller underbase to register the second color perfectly.

    Thank you!

I might do more than a one pixel trap. But that's just me.

Select > Modify > Expand?..are you sure just one!?

For filling there's a function to fill the selection in a click?

Thanks a lot lil, it's the second time you save me.

I would make a new channel, apply the two spot colors to it, load the new channel, and then add a 4 pixel stroke (on center) to it. That would give you butt registration to your two spot colors and a choke on your underlay.
If you want to add a trap to your two colors instead of butt registration, select the color you will print first then expand selection by 2 pixels and fill.

I created the 2 spot channels, then I selected the upper layer, loaded the selection of the same channel and then expanded by 2 pixel. I hope it's enough for the registration!

Thank you a lot like always guys!
