    no doubt. i am sending files that are 1g sometimes. But it is silly that email servers sometimes cut off anything over 5 m.

    try dropping the quality of the jpeg to low or medium... if it's a flyer no one will be able to tell... and it will save a ton... drop the resolution to 200dpi as well... a 18mb jpeg for an 11" x 17" is kinda ridiculous

    yeah, but the work you're doing is definitely not 11x17's going to a color printer for a show.

    the correct answer is to deliver a full quality 300dpi jpg to the web via FTP & educate your clients on clicking a link in an email and saving it to their desktop.

    agreed (and essentially what Luther said - but damn those are big )

    but if you don't wanna do that you can use free web transfer services like yousendit.com (which is virtually impossible to screw up at either end)

    yeah I'm teaching them how to use Mediafire filesharing site, in this day and age they should know how to use it.

    was just wondering why they turn out so big, didn't know if was something me or my computer were doing wrong, or if they should be that big
