try dropping the quality of the jpeg to low or medium... if it's a flyer no one will be able to tell... and it will save a ton... drop the resolution to 200dpi as well... a 18mb jpeg for an 11" x 17" is kinda ridiculous

the correct answer is to deliver a full quality 300dpi jpg to the web via FTP & educate your clients on clicking a link in an email and saving it to their desktop.
yeah I'm teaching them how to use Mediafire filesharing site, in this day and age they should know how to use it.
