Epson 1400 and Snow Leopard

I'm about to head out this evening and purchase an Epson 1400 because :
1) it's on sale
2) i've heard good things about it on GP.

I've read some mixed online reviews regarding 1400's compatibility with the new Snow Leopard update. I'm still using Mac OS X version 10.5.8 but I plan to upgrade soon. I'm not sure what to do now.

does your Epson 1400 work fine with Snow Leopard?

A new update specific to epson was just released through apples software update the other day. Haven't had any problems with my 1400 since. In fact it has wireless printer setup features it didn't have before.
Get the 1400. It's a good printer - especially when it's on sale.

thank god apple updated it. I lost the 13x19 setting with the epson printer and after having to use guttenprint drivers (or whatever they're called) I can't seem to find the right setting to get really opaque blacks like I got with the epson driver before I upgraded to snow leopard.
