    Default Urgent illustrator help needed

So I opened illustrator today and while my command+ whatever shortcuts seems to be working (like command+Z) The shift for making things 90degree and straight line and alt for copying things as I move them are not working at all. Is there some sort of button on my keyboard I might of hit to render these unworkable? I'm in the middle of a ton of work and really need these functions back. HELP?!!

What version of AI are you on? Is the mac on a network. Do the keys work for text, and just not the command to constrain and such?

In AI10 if you have it running and manage to hit cmd+K in the Finder it'll kill them until restart.

More than likely, it's the Preference file. You need to trash it.

    Shut down AI first.

User> Library> Preferences> Adobe Illustrator (Version) Settings> Adobe Illustrator Prefs

    Send it to the trash.

    Start AI.
