more so than almost any other band, Pantera knew when to lock up in a simple groove and when to let it loose. They didn't have to play fast to be heavy. It was all groove.

Great Southern Trend Kill is too scatter brained for me. It didn't have the same overall focus and tightness of the two before it. And Phil was all fucked up on H and all that. That last Pantera record was so bad I didn't even buy it. that band was never even close to the same after Far Beyond Driven IMO.
