GENE IS THE MAN , my band got to open for Zimmers hole last summer ( who gene is also the drummer for ) and gene just sat at the merch table with a huge bag of cheeze burgers munching away all night , he must put back 15 or so . it makes him that much more impressive cause he is totally a fat tank of a beast man .

Show started at 6:30 with High on Fire. Totally pissed I missed them and had to listen to Converge.
Music for bald dudes with goatees and black hoodies. Who are they to have HoF first on the bill?
We had seats in the Turner VIP section and that was a great thing. They had waitresses.

Mastodon was tight and played Crack The Skye all the way through.
Then did an encore of songs from Blood Mountain, Leviathan, Remission,
and closed the set with their cover of The Bit by the Melvins.

Rasputin's brain is full of wormholes apparently.

Dethklok absolutely killed it though. Brendan Small is a great guitar player.
And Hoglan is one of the most effortless drummers ever.
To watch him is amazing. No wasted movement at all.

And we hate you. You brainless mutants.

Pumped as f*** for the show tomorrow night. Got backstage passes to drop off the prints, and Im going to attempt to have every band member sign a print.

    Maybe this one...

The live show is WYLD! They've got all these animators scurrying to draw it while it happens.

Nah. It's just the creator of the show playing songs he wrote for the episodes.
