Why? Who knows...he's Yow.
i've been to shows where he started the set with no shirt.

i'm a little disappointed. at least he's still stage diving.

That was amazing. David Yow - first naked man I ever saw in my life. It's a wonder I'm not a lesbian. Great show. Awesome.

Did any of y'all at PF see that bit where Yow straddled that guys neck and humped his face for a good 10 seconds, while saying, "Howard Greynolds, ladies & gentlemen!", all broadcast on the jumbotron for the assembled masses?

Victim is a friend of mine. He will never live that down.

It's weird seeing them in a big place, outside... it loses a bit of the sense of danger they created in little bars, where at any moment you might get jumped on and teabagged by some deranged freak sweating vodka out of every pore.
...unless you're Howard of course.

Still great though. I didn't bother watching any other band at PF for more than 5 minutes.

howard was doing a great job of handling yow. he does that professionally.

i was watching from about 20 feet in front of the sound booth, and i get a text from henni. in hamburg.

"jay - there is a camera behind you!"

i turn around and wave, and remember that we're in the 21st century.
