    what songs did he do most of the writing for with the eagles?

    his songs for them were the only tolerable ones.

    James Gang had some great songs that never made the radio. Eagles had some great songs that were overplayed, and some that never made the radio, like "Try and Love Again" with Walsh on a twangy Gresch.
