last time i saw down they were really good, but as phil got more and more wasted as the night went on, they got pretty shitty towards the end of the set. anselmo was rambling utter shit, having a go at the crowd for not going "motherfuckin, fuck, fuck, goddamn motherfuckin apeshit" enough and ended up walking off stage before the end of the last song, procalming on his way off something like "this is the band of legends" or something along those lines. a really shit end to a mostly great gig and what a shame phil anselmo, a guy that i used to think was amazing when i was 15 or so, has become.

That sounds awesome to me. I love it when a band takes a huge dump on your expectations and walks away with your money.

dude, i wasn't expecting that much anyway, if anything the show exceeded my expectations. all i thought when i left was what a shame. which it is......

just hope that phil has got his head straight now cause melvins and down is a great lineup
