Self-immolation seems to be a popular form of speech among Iranians. I know of a number on instances where Iranian women have walked into cities and burnt themselves to cinders protesting Shari'ah.
If they really want to make a statement, they should eat pork chops and hotdogs in the streets of Tehran shouting "allah hu akbar" (intentionally mispronounced).
