    Default Karma to Burn

good to see these guys giving it another go. can't fucking wait for April now.

KARMA TO BURN Is Back - Feb. 24, 2009
Acclaimed West Virginia instrumental heavy rockers KARMA TO BURN have put their differences aside and reformed for a limited series of dates. KARMA TO BURN split in 2002 after bassist Rich Mullins left to join Texas aggro-rockers SPEEDEALER.

Shows kick off April 16 at the Sound Factory in Charleston, WV with KARMA TO BURN as main support for UNKNOWN HINSON. Headlining shows will follow in Huntington, WV with local doomsters HYATARI and Columbus with SIN NOMBRE. More gigs will be announced soon, including possible European dates.

KARMA TO BURN consists of guitarist Will Mecum (TREASURE CAT), bassist Rich "Dickie" Mullins (YEAR LONG DISASTER) and drummer Rob Oswald (NEBULA).

That's great news! I saw them years ago here at the Elmocambo....non-stop heavy riffin'! Having no vocals made them even better!

I'm so fuckin pumped. I grew up going to their shows, I'm so glad they are playing again. I love Treasure Cat, those guys are great. and Year Long Disaster and Nebula kickass but it's good to see them coming back together. Hopefully things go well.

Tomorrow night's show in Huntington, WV, was apparently canceled. I'm glad I checked the venue's site before driving 120 miles. How many other shows on this tour have been axed?

show's not canceled. what did you check, the V-Club website? they are playing at Club Echo. originally the clubs were having a bidding war, and it had been double booked at first, Club Echo won out. They are also playing tonight in Charleston at Sound Factory.

I checked Etix's site. They show the Huntington show as canceled. I didn't know about the other venue.

A good friend of mine is putting on 3 of their shows in PA. Rich (bass) is one of the coolest people in the bizz.

yep, it lists it as V-Club. that one was canceled, they were selling tickets for a couple days before it was. you couldn't buy the Club Echo tickets online but they are still playing there
