holy shit tonight's show was awesome. I mean I can barely even put it into words. the energy in the air was pretty amazing.

The Barkoloungers and The Scrap Iron Pickers were great starters. an entire night of instrumental music. The Barkoloungers kinda sound like a mixture of all of Husky's slow groovy songs, Earth's last few albums, and a Sergio Leone/Ennio Morricone western movie. They were all older DuDes and sounded great, can't wait to see them again. The Scrap Iron Pickers are a great mixture of various styles of instrumental music; some heavy, some funky, but all with great energy. they haven't been together too long but they already have a hell of a show put together. you can check them out here: The Scrap Iron Pickers on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads.

Then K2B came on stage and it was like taking the DeLorean back to Hill Valley, taking a shortcut through Morgantown, and getting baked the whole way. they were fucking mighty, and just straight tore it up from the beginning. everyone was going apeshit, and you could tell the band was having a blast eating it all up. the new one, 41, sounded fucking great. people were eating all the merch up like fucking hotcakes. the posters I did turned out great and was good seeing people buying those. Afterward some of us hit another bar and you could tell Will was on top of the world, I really hope the rest of their tour goes as well as it did tonight.

If you have the chance, definitely go see them, you won't be disappointed. I can't fucking wait for the Huntington show tonight and the Motown and Pittsburgh shows next week.

Do you think Club Echo will sell out?

Dang. Not going to be able to make it. My album's been getting mastered the last couple days and it's not quite done. Should be wrapped up sometime tonight or tomorrow though, so it's not a bad thing. Best reason I've ever had to miss a band I wanted to see.

Have my fun for me at the show tonight, Jimbo.
