lost highway sent me a promo copy. i'm very meh on morrissey (can't quite dislike him, as a smiths fan). my first listen was pleasantly surprised.
the bass player, sol snyder, was a friend from highschool. we used to skate together.
edit: i guess he's using the surname 'walker' now. his older brother, matt, was the drummer for the smashing pumpkins when what's-his-face was kicked out.

I give it thumbs up. Not quite as good as 'You Are the Quarry" but better than "Ringleader of the Tormentors".
his post-Vauxhall and I stuff is not bad, but i wish he would just swallow his goddamn pride, call up Stephen Street and Johnny Marr and get back to making REALLY awesome records again.
i haven't heard the new one yet, but i'll listen to it tonight.
just got a tee approved for him today. haven't checked out the record, mostly because I haven't liked his last few efforts. I'll take a look, though.
