I'm just not feeling that new Radiohead.

... I just can't get into it for some reason. Anyone else who's heard it feel the same way?

A friend gave me a copy of that "leaked" version about a month ago, and I thought since the album was just released this week, I'd try to give it another few days of listening... I don't have the legit version, so I'm not sure if it's any better or not.

I like all their previous stuff alright, but I don't know... I think this current sound of theirs is a little played out. 3 albums worth of essentially the same stuff rehashed is what I'm hearing, and the songs seem more uninspired as they go along. I can only take so much of that lilting, "floating on a cloud of airy electronics" and backwards whup-whup sounds... I was really hoping they would rock out more this time. maybe next time...

Any thoughts from the poster community on this?

Its alright....new Grandaddy CD is much better.
New Fountains of Wayne much better too. (Oh wait, does FOW fall into that guilty pleasure catagory?)

I like a few songs on it, but it's definately not as good as Kid A or OK Computer.....I had one of the leaked versions as well, but went out and bought an actual copy the other day....no real differences just some extra beats on one of the songs that I noticed....

Maybe I need to listen to it a bit more though.....Kid A was like that. I totally hated it when I first heard it, but over time it totally grew on me and I liked the way it seemed more like one long song rather then different tracks..

wow......i was thinking the same thing.......i got a leaked version and figured that the real version would be mixed better or something but if it's the same i don't think i'll bother getting it...........i've been recycling kid a and ok computer for the last 2 weeks anyway..........
