then i got in a scuffle with this dude because despite continued warnings to be cool, he continued trying to ruin the show for everyone around him. my #1 pet peeve. he was harassing the kid next to me (some younger kid who told the dude to watch it) and i kept telling him to leave him alone. once he got to "headbutting me" stage, and he ignored my "dont fucking touch me" request with yet another headbutt, i grabbed him by the neck and started pushing him out of the audience. he grabbed a hold of my hair and started swinging, i started kicking and shook him off. his friends hauled him outside.

That first shot is dynamite, Daniel....nice one! My shots of when they played here didn't really turn out 'cause they had a smoke machine on most of the time.

Yes, I have had a few of those annoying drunk jerk-at-the-show stories as well, unfortunately....the last one involved some clown that, when I let him know that he couldn't use me as a crutch to lean on for the rest of the show, he gave me the hand gesture as if he was gonna' backhand me in the face. I moved somewhere farther away and hoped he would do the rest of the crowd a favor and fall down a flight of stairs.

like, ive worked in my share of small venues to pretty immediately switch into "be cool or get the fuck out" mode. i get really pissed off when people are ruining shows for everyone else, especially someone being a drunk dick to someone significantly younger whos just trying to enjoy the bands. and his friends were doing a piss poor job of wrangling their drunk friend, really just egging him on. they ignored me too. i gave the dude alot of chances verbally, but he wouldnt leave the kid next to me alone. so he started fucking with me instead, once again despite constant warnings. but when he got physical with the pushing and headbutting, i was just like "here we gooooo".

there is a significant clump of hair now on my desk. lame. dear asshole: were not 14 year old girls fighting after middle school, pulling hair is not allowed. jesus.

im just sayin, if i have to be fightin someone, my first inclination is not to "pull hair". but thats me...

it was a great show regardless. that dude just would not cut the shit despite a million warnings. i dont like drunk jagoffs messing with people trying to enjoy themselves. i especially dont like when drunk jagoffs start getting physical with me because i tell them to leave the other people alone. nuff said.

regardless, i wonder if i would have acted differently had i not been listening to boris riff the shit out of everyone for 45 minutes dead front center ten feet from that wall of amps.
