I've finally decided this band is actually pretty damn good. I've always enjoyed their singles, but I never bothered to check them out any further. I have a serious distrust of Can-content radio bands. Good singles almost always lead to wasted money and shitty albums.

Anyway, I saw a couple of their albums for super cheap at a used record store and decided to pick them up. Great songs. Solid albums. They just might even be one of the best pop bands this country has ever produced.

They had a hell of a run in the late 90s.
The recent stuff has been excellent by non-Sloan standards but is missing.....something.
Great band tho.

Truthfully, my only problem with the band is Chris Murphy. Dude kinda rubs me the wrong way. He's had some cool design/art direction ideas throughout their history, though.

a solid pop band. There was a time when i was really into those guys for sure..
