Default mudhoney came to see my black flag cover band

totally surreal. having guys who i used to listen to all the time when i was like 14 telling me i rule (while imitating henry rollins , another teenage fixation) is kind of a mindfuck to say the least.

their set was AWESOME . they played freaking in and outta grace! i now have metal neck. i was really surprised on how great they sounded and looked.
alot of old faves have been letting me down lately , it's nice to see a band that been around for like what? 20 years? still have it in 'em. kids were stage diving.

that is effectively rad. my old band opened for a band i really liked when i was younger, and the lead dude said he really liked us, and in my nervousness i said "you dont have to lie." and he sort of blinked then walked away without saying anything else. i felt kind of shitty afterwards.

one of these days i feel me and my wall of amps and fuzz pedals have to make our way up to your neck of the woods. were on pretty different wavelengths artwork wise, but musically and thematically im way on board.

"Every single Crosshair poster I've ever seen is almost exactly the same. Do these guys even have a bit of creativity in them? I mean, come one - shitty old building pics photoshopped with text over them. Pretty pathetic to say the least."

"it just seems like so little effort is put into creating this? am i missing something?"

I recently saw Mudhoney with The Melvins down here in L.A. and they tore up the joint. The Melvins were better, but they kicked out the jams, motherfucker.

it doesn't exist anymore! we were called the sandwiches.played all of damage minus tv party.
it was fun but it was just for fun. none of us actually want to be in a real cover band. although i think most of my friends would rather see the sandwiches than aids wolf . ):

the 60 year old secretary at works HATES the new Aids Wolf album!
    that's probably a good thing.

I met Mark Arm on the DKTMC5 tour and he was a really nice guy. Made me love Mudhoney even more somehow. Never haz seen them live though
