    Default Brian Eno

Does he suck balls? I always hear his name and he seems like someone I should know about, but I've never bothered to look into his stuff. I just downloaded 'needle's in the camel's eye' and it seems ok. Any recommends?

    before and after science

    those are my faves.

out of those, the first two are more "songy" and less experimental. some super awesome fucked up pop on both of those.

eno can be soooo amazing and also soooo boring. so i guess it depends on what you're into.

his book, a year with swollen appendices is pretty great too.

well, most of it. there are parts where he does a lot of wanky grand standing, but when he's actually talking about music, it's very interesting.

These are downloading right now. I'll give them a listen. I hear his name associated with David Byrne and Bowie so figured I would give him a listen. I'm pretty much burned out on most music at the moment so we'll see.

Yeah - I agree with everyone else here. I really like everything up till he gets into ambient music. Which I give him credit for because he invented it - but I still hate listening to it.

All the Talking Heads albums he produced are amazing.
