thought i'd mention this in case folks hadn't seen it in the classifieds. we recently started a record label of sorts. with the goal being to do very short runs on colored vinyl with weird , over the top silkscreened packaging for bands we really , really like. basically the bands have to submit to whatever weird assed art we do for them.
we started this cause we thought it would be fun to do album packaging with zero budget or client constraints and cause we are both record nerds who felt a need to justify the ikea shelving that we call a living room.
this 7" has comic book shaped packaging , is hang numbered (edition of 350) , has all exclusive tracks and will NEVER be repressed.
the first one just came out a few week ago, it's a 7" for the rebel . the rebel it ben wallers , from man of the country teasers. on this record he's joined by sophie politowicz , his wife and country teasers bassist.
it's as dark as the country teasers but weirder and more deconstructed.
the recording is lo-fi , the guitars are noisy , the keyboards tinny , the voice desperate and the drums sound like a metronome.
recommended if you like : the country teasers , severed heads , suicide , the fall , the intelligence , brainbombs , the hospitals.

14$ postpaid , with tracking and insurance for an ultra limited 7" with oversized 6 color silkscreened packaging . extra care is taken so they don't get chewed up by the postman.
it's not the cheapest but we thought "cool" , "rare" , "not lost or damaged in the mail" where more important than "cheap".
