Alkaline Trio's new album

Listening to it now. They signed to a major label (right?)
Some songs and pretty good so far. I have determined I do not like Dan the bass players voice at all.

Anyone else get it?

I actually really enjoy the record. I've liked everything they have done, but their last album had more misses than hits, in my opinion. I actually think Dan has a pretty strong voice.. just different, I guess. A matter of taste, I suppose.

I agree with the last album being more misses than hits.
I enjoy this one quite a bit. Not my favorite of theirs, but good enough to keep around.

I went to see them , totally stoked, in Milwaukee with the Dismemberment Plan, and ended up leaving not giving two shits about Alkaline Trio.

Still can dig their older stuff though.

I dig the rest of it though...definitely not their best, but I still dig the Alk3.

They have some stuff i like I assume it's older stuff but I wouldn't know for sure.

I dig them ... I thought the new album was pretty decent ... still think their earlier stuff is amazing ... getting a little too "poppy" these days ...

I like the new album fine. I thought Good Mourning was their best out of the major label releases. I really like Dan's voice, probably over Matt's but yeah, a matter of taste. Their Drummer is pretty decent, real precise.
