Goodbye to The Hellacopters!

After 14 years as a band they call it quitz. It has been one of my all time favourite bands. And they are perhaps the best r´n´r band that ever come out of Sweden. I´ve seen them in the early stages and seen them evolve. I remember a gig from their first year playing with the Dictators here in my neighbour town.

Their end recordwise is a bit different and they are getting back a bit to their roots musically, the final album is called "Head Off" and consists purely of covers.

It´s probably one of the more vital and energic releases in a long while which seems a bit ironical.

Lots of cool posters has also been made around these guys.

Now I better quit writing before someone yells to write on some blog instead.

I have their Grande Rock album. A lot of the songs sound very Kiss-like so I dig it.

Now Turbonegro will carry the torch of Scandinavian 70s style rock solo...
