izzy was one of the best parts of guns and roses, his solo stuff is way under rated. the first album is a great super solid rock n roll record.

Hella- There's No 666 In Outer Space

No joke, hands down best album of 2007. Best technical skill, most talented drummer ever to live, best lyrical theme, super unique, tons of soul, ect.

Seriously. Check this album out.

They're so much more than that. Sort of like The Mars Volta, just no improv or 16 minute long songs. Sort of like Lightning Bolt with less effects and more musicianship/ better production.

Seriously, everyone owes it to themselves just to hear the drummer. No double bass with a four or five piece kit.

Search some Hella videos on youtube. Watch the old ones with only 2 people. Really, some of my favorite songs of all time.

Also, for all the noise fans out there:

If anyone is a big Acid Mothers Temple fan, check this one out as well. One disc is an hour long trip, completely played and recorded by the drummer. The other disc is video game music put to guitars, completely played and recorded by the guitarist.

Hella as a two piece. Very similar to Don Caballero, but better.

Hella is a great band, though I like them A LOT better as a two piece. Not too into that Outer Space album. The Devil Isn't Red is my favorite.

They've owed me $400 for about 4 years now. I'm pretty sure I'm never gonna see it.
