great thread... saw it a week or so ago but too busy to add to it
Bon Iver certainly is underrated but I quite like him not being played over the radio too much... here's two of my all-time favourite albums both sadly under-rated...   Little Barrie should have been on everyone's lips but the tastemakers deemed them too ahead of their gameplan (celebrating the wrong era) do check this album, and play it parties ...and rockologist made me smile about 'satanic majesty's request' - I love that album too

'Red' and 'Starless and Bible Black' are two of my favorite albums, and 'Animals' is by far my favorite Pink Floyd album.... no question.

It was just a statement in relation to Golden Boy's post. I don't think any of Pink Floyds work is underrated.... possibly over rated in most cases.
