The roots may be one of the best hip hop bands ever to form. Being an early fan of their albums "do you want more???" and such. After seeing them live a few years back...in my opinion is was the best live hip hop show I ever saw. After seeing them live though...their studio albums never came through with the same intensity and skill. In which I feel they have always fallen short of capturing the greatness of the group as a whole when it comes to their studio albums. I hope this new album changes my mind...if it doesn't there's always "roots come alive" to fall back on.

holy shjt. saw them last night, they are on top of their game big time. They played well over two hours.
Oh, and they have a fuxxing pogoing tuba player.
