I saw Froberg's new band, Obits, last night. I think it was only their second show. Some songs still had some Hot Snakes vibe, but over all it was very garage-y. Lots of reverb, surf riffs, and some slow songs. Not exactly what I was expecting, but still super cool.

Froberg's been doing flyers for some of these shows too, but I don't think the tour poster they had on sale was his, which was a bummer.

sweet. the band sounds good. i've allways been i HUGE fan of rick's art and am amazed at how loose it is yet never seems sloppy. nice guy too.

What is Speedo's new band Scrojo? I think they are playing the Swami showcase in Austin next week.
