Thanks for the heads up and the link. Great idea for the free preview. I'll buy "Alice" at the very least next week, haven't got a chance to sample the other one yet.

"Blood Money" is available for preview on the 3rd I believe. Yeah...watch out for that Letterman performance!

I'm going to see Nick Cave this Saturday at the 9:30 Club in DC &amp; he's about the only guy out there giving Waits a run for his money. Waits is the only artist, as well as dear old Nick, that only gets better the older he gets. Can you think of one other artist pulling that trick off in any genre? Next Tuesday, both those resordings will be the soundtrack at my house.

hey i didnt know you were near dc..

i think you have to include bobby dylan with that group.. he gets better and better in person.. truly a great show... and now he isnt strung out, and sometimes he will even smile.. i go to ALL dylan shows in my area (philly-atlantic city)in the past 4 years

Dylan is in the untouchable catergory. He's the yard stick by which all others are measured. Him &amp; Nina Simone get my endless, eternal praise and Waits is up there with the those giants.
