Dude I'm new-school. I'm so very into many things "nineteen-nineties" but much of it is good for you guys cause you were going to shows in 89 or whatever and I think ya'll have alot of love for what you came up participating in, hence your love for Flaming Lips. Keep in mind that I have to backtrack and play catch-up with you all, hence my pm's to Maxflo about metal questions.


I Just think early Fu-manchu, Early qotsa and even all the Brant Bjork stuff rules alot harder than Kyuss. Musically, yes they certainly got it, but I can't get over the vocals. It's not like I just picked this record up either.

Kyuss is the pinacle. Fu, Brant Bjork and all of those other Cali/ desert bands can't even come close. Just my opinion. Which counts for little.

I mean, I can't even deal with how rad Odyssey is. It's like , perfect in every way.

WTSV is the best Kyuss record...after they worked out the kinks, before the meltdown.

My favorite Kyuss CD as well. I was listening to WTSV recently and thinking the same things some of y'all are saying. It's thick.
