Hmmm... yeah, that is a possibility. But it then makes it a very expensive gig going experience. And for someone who laughs in the face of ticket prices any higher than about £7 i'm not sure if it's really for me. I'm planning on going down at some point, so we will see....

Yeah, i have seen them before.... and they are good. In fact they are one of my favorite bands.
How big is KOKO? I've not been before, and the only thing i hate more than paying above £7 for a gig ticket is 'big gigs' (by this i mean anything really above 150). They piss me off no end.
I somehow manage to always get stood next to some total bell end who insists on:
    a: passionately kissing someone
b: talking loudly to people nearby
c: spilling drinks about the place
d: feeling that it is appropriate to video/photograph the gig using their mobile phone
e: stand in front of me and be much taller than i am (which isn't difficult)
    f: be 16
    g: all of the above

I really don't enjoy seeing larger scale shaows anymore; thinking about it, i'm not sure i ever really enjoyed being herded like cattle into sweaty dark rooms by simian like security staff.

It is cool,, but it is big too! so i dunno if you would dig it drew, its got loads of tiers and the stage is quite small but you can fit way more than 150 people in there...but i saw them at the scala as well and i think that is a better venue.. (intimate enough for an q&a session)
and all of your gig hates i share with you my friend, altho not the height one (im 6.2) theres nothing worse than twats with their mobiles out at gigs!

i'd agree with this, the scala is much better. koko is about the same capacity (~1000) but is notorious for reasonably regular bouts of shit sound, whereby you can't really hear a portion of the mid-range at all. shellac though
