    they're playing in louisville in a couple weeks. maybe i won't go. i saw them several times way back in the day and they were great, but...

    i bought my tickets a few weeks ago. hopefully jake will be in better spirits being back in Louisville visiting friends..

    the turbo 'acoustic' tour show at Uncle Pleasant's several years ago was really great even with the few technical difficulties.

    I saw jason and Pavement Bob play as Pale Horse riders at Twice Told in Louisville when I lived there in 95 or so. It was a surprise that there was even a band that night, let alone those two. It was cool. Is Twice Told still there?

    It is still there, but it's been a few years since I've been. In my old age I spend less time on Bardstown rd. and more time in Crescent Hill. I'm old...

    Twice Told on Bardstown Rd actually closed several years ago and moved to I believe, La Grange. De La Torre, or another Spanish restaurant expanded into that space.

    I saw some strange shows in that backroom, but seeing Pale Horse back there would have been sweet.
