Yeah! I have Thulsa Doom's first full length, it's damn good....the first track just smokes. Some great harmonica.

But I have no idea what the fuck happened to them, their new record just fuckin sucks. That new singer is atrocious. But they did cover "Be Forewarned"...maybe the only saving grace.

Anyone know if Lowrider ever had a full length album? I had a couple of their songs on a comp years ago and loved it, but could never find anything else.

Yes they did! "Ode to io" out on I think Meteor City years ago. In my opinion, one of the best Kyuss clone bands. That record has really really solid riffs on it. Definitely pick it up.

Boy, that's a bold statement. I used to love CoM. I tried liking them after the original singer left, which was after the split with Iron Monkey, but I haven't liked any of the singers they've had since then...oh, except "Filth Bitch Boogey", that song rules. And they also seem to recycle alot of their riffs...they are great riffs, though.

I'm loving Eternal Elysium these days....and Year Long Disaster...

I love Church OF Misery but for pure Stoner Rock... It's tie betweeen Kyuss and Sleep. Electric Wizard is close. CoM are more Doomy.

    mr kozik

    question

how does it feel to be a contributing factor in the development of something you like on a personal level.... does it make you proud/giddy/happy to realize that you actually contributed something in the process that created these records that you related to and like?

looking back over your back catalogue for mans ruin... how would you describe that feeling without getting into the bankruptcy part and the frustrations of having to fight the distribution mafia
